Before you start a divorce or other family law matter, or if you have been served with a summons and a complaint involving a family law matter, be sure you understand your rights and the procedures that must be followed to ensure that your rights are protected. Doug Hill will clearly explain your rights, as well as the process involved in any family law matter, so that you have the information you need to make the necessary decisions to achieve the outcome you desire, without incurring outrageous attorney’s fees or other unexpected costs. With Doug’s straightforward guidance, you will be able to understand the most likely and the most common outcomes in cases like yours and enter into negotiations with reasonable objectives and proper expectations.

Doug knows that most clients prefer to settle their matters outside of a courtroom, but if the opposing party knows that you are unwilling to go to court, they can use that knowledge to force you into agreeing to accept less than you deserve. If you are unable to reach a settlement in your case, we will be ready to take your case to trial and represent your interests with strength and integrity.
